Bob Hered has courageously battled amblyopia through his work at Nemour's Childrens' hospital, through validations studies of different child-friendly optotpye acuity screening, through education of pediatricians regarding vision screening. His video education CD is superb! He has championed a "See by Three" project for the Children's Eye Foundation of AAPOS. Bob recently traveled to Alaska to receive his Laureate "hug" in person.
